Following the successes of the seven previous editions, and with it's new status as one of the Arts Council's regularly funded organisation, Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival has become an important event in the international film festival calendar. The event has screened over 375 different works, from 35 different countries, including three world premieres and 30 UK or European debuts.

Sponsorship of the Festival has the potential to:

  • Create hightened awareness of your brand in local, regional and national markets
  • Provide commercial opportunities for your company, including corporate hospitality, product visibility and, potentially, a retail presence
  • Visible support for the arts, and associations with a thriving and innovative festival in the region
  • Develop a long term partnership with a unique cultural event with a focus on accessibility, outreach and education, as well as world-class film and video-work
  • Satisfy corporate social responsibility criteria, including engagement with all levels of the community, and engagement with a local, regional and national cultural event
  • Direct access to the film and visual arts community, and to our venues, funders, partners, sponsors and supporters
  • Create a significant level of related media oportunities throughout the lifetime of the sponsorship
  • Position the sponsor as a forward-looking investor in Berwick's and Northumberland's cultural provision

Sponsorship of Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival 2012 is available at various levels of support. Contact Festival Director Melanie Iredale at melanie@berwickfilm-artsfest.com or on 01289 303355 to discuss.
