The touching story of a middle-aged man, Jean-Louis Mic, and his relationship with the inhabitants of the rural French community of Puiscasquier. A film that crosses genres in surprising and unexpected ways.

Kathy Sebbah was born in 1976 in Toulouse, France. She studied cinematography at the La Fémis film school, Paris.

A moving Croatian documentary about a generation of young people whose lives have been powerfully affected by the recent war. Inspired by the story of the unsolved murder of Ljubica Solar, a young woman from Sisak, the director returns back to the town, where he talks to his contemporaries who face the eternal dilemma of people in small towns – to stay or to leave.

Goran Dević was born in Sisak, Croatia, in 1971. He studied law, archeology and film art at the Academy for Drama Art in Zagreb, Croatia.

City Scene comprises a series of long takes which depict everyday life in Beijing. Collected over a number of years, these sometimes bizarre images reveal the raw side of urban existence, against the background of a fast-changing city preparing itself for the Olympic games.

Zhao Liang was born in China in 1971. He lives and works in Beijing.
