Working with professional filmmakers Writers’ Block the students were in for a rollercoaster introduction to the world of film production. Not wanting to waste any time, the first day included a two-hour film challenge; using flip cameras, the students had no more than 2 hours to devise a story, script, shoot and edit a film. The result? An American Zombie in Berwick. This enabled the students to perfect their skills and developing talent to create a more in depth short film, this time around the idea of teleportation. Both films will be screened at their premiere as part of the festival programme.
