Remember 'Magma' from the 2010 Fest? And 'Mare' which was shot in Berwick, and commissioned by Northumberland County Council in partnership with the Maltings and the 2011 Festival? Well they're both screening at Papay Gyro Nights festival in Orkney. Go Rammatik! http://www.papaygyronights.papawestray.org/html/gyro2012/artists/Rammatik.html

Staying in Berwick

Staying in Berwick:

There are plenty of places to stay in Berwick-upon-Tweed, from family-run B&Bs, to the Caravan Park, to Wig-Wams! With so many options for accommodation situated in the town centre and within easy walking distance of Festival events, we thought we’d give you our top tips on where to stay:

The Parade School Guesthouse boasts both a friendly atmosphere and finely furnished rooms, while silver awarded Whyteside House is the ideal option for couples and families. For cheaper accommodation and for those who prefer a state of the art hosteling experience - Dewars Lane Granary is the YHA's newest hostel, set in a 200 year old former granary.

Other B&B's are also available in the local area. Tweedmouth is only a £4 taxi ride away from Berwick, while East Ord and Spittal are a £8 taxi ride away.
